Fiction Books
- The Temeraire series. An interesting mash-up of the Napoleonic War and dragons.
Games
- Anno 1701 (aka 1701 A.D.) Probably the best city building game to come out in the past several years.
- Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria. A Japanese-style RPG for the PS2.
